That’s a tough break, for sure..Update…
So they’re saying that my transmission warranty is no longer because I put an aftermarket metal pan on. Fuck sake another shitshow with my ranger and the dealer.
Any suggestions on how do deal with this bull?
Sadly, there are folks on the forum who are concerned enough about transmission issues that they’re installing the PPE transmission pan on their trucks. In their efforts to avoid transmission issues, they might be voiding their transmission warranty.
Some are doing it because they tow, others are doing it because they would like to change fluid more often and it has a handy drain plug.
I guess, no good deed goes unpunished.
