Ive never used one of these but heard they work great. A little pricey but then again so is major hail damage. My buddy in FL just got his F150 back from the shop yesterday with $6,900 in hail damage. ? Needless to say a little to late but now he's now buying one.

Watch him drop one random post about hail and then disappear for another year.
Let's not get too excited or ask too many questions....we don't want to scare him off !!!!

Welcome back, how is the Tremor doing?
Thanks Steve. The Tremor is doing really great and it just turned 11,700 miles but that was mostly from picking it up in WA and then our summer trip last year.

? I've been working on something since last September that's really consumed (and needed) 100% of my time. Hopefully on Thursday it'll be mostly finished ( well, I'll have the hardest part done) and I'll elaborate more on it. I never like to get ahead of myself and jinx it but right now this looks to be 99% done deal. ?

Been good Dave. Glad to see you back. You have been missed !!!
You know, that SHEWEE looks exactly like the gas can fill spout they gave us with the Ranger. You don't suppose it has a dual purpose ??? Maybe make weewee in an emergency into an empty 303 bottle ???

You're right to think of this, our Rangers have pretty thin sheet metal. I have dozens of tiny dings from acorns.

Acorns?!?

I've dropped wrenches and even hammers on my old FJ40 with nada. But a friggin' acorn? Bah!

before Ranger dents, acorns could be a fun game theme, now they only make me rage! as do squirrels ...

That reminds me of what happened in 1993. My grandmother had bought a new Escort wagon. She had taken it in for its first oil change. The service manager asked her where she had been to get hail damage? She replied It's not hail. We had a bumper crop of acorns.

Buddy of mine keeps a roll of old shag carpet out by his truck and throws it over his truck, carpet side down.
