Guesses on hail damage?

Just had a hail storm roll through, Ranger doesn't v for in the garage and I worked from home today. Anyone want to take a guess on damage amount? I still have temporary tags on it...

Oh, man, that sucks. Living in Texas, hail is very common. I have had damage from similar sized hail.

The last time we got caught with hail like this was 2019, and my wife's Lexus was outside. I honestly don't think it was more than $1000 to fix since it was all repairable through paintless dent repair.

Hard to tell without pics. Sometimes it can be PDR (Paintless Dent Removal) out as long as it's not the aluminum panels. Sometimes even those can be done too.

Yikes, that's some serious hail. I bet you have a few dents but hopefully no broken glass.

I think PDR can be over $100 per dent. I had a brand new 2014 Track Pack Mustang GT for just a few months before I felt your pain. When done it wasn't even noticeable. Roof, Door Tops, Quarter Panel Tops. I was sick.

Hard to get pics of the truck when it's still raining and there is no light because of the overcast. They will come tomorrow.

Some sizeable dents in the backflip cover which surprises me. I expected it to hold up better.

Where did this one hit ? That one in 2017 resulted in $11.5 k damage to the wife's car - parked at Lutheran in Wheatridge, but later that summer golfed with a gent at Indian Peaks who lived adjacent to the course and he had over $100k in damages - roof, fence, siding, windows.
Speaking of Wheatridge I worked at I-70 and Kipling in the 80s and remember a hailstorm that dumped so much hail and rain that a couple of folks were swept off their feet and pinned under structures and perished. Now I reside in Pagosa Springs and a lightning strike took out the internet tower and it took them nearly 3 days to restore service.

Near the Southglenn Mall. Wife's car was hit two weeks ago near the centennial airport. Estimate from the paintless dent repair place that the insurance co requested we use was $3500 but they can't get her in for three months due to the backlog of work from that storm. Still trying to find another place for her car.

My guess is it will cost you whatever your deductible is.

Mine had probably 200 small dents from hail 2 years ago. Dent popper did it for 2600 and it’s perfect

My son just got his 2020 Subaru WRX repaired due to hail damage. The total repair cost was $13,545.57. The shop had to replace the hood, roof, truck lid, 1 fender, roof antenna, both passenger door skins, fuel door, and right tail light. Some of the other dents were fixed the old fashion way and some were fixed by PDR. The repair list is 4 pages long. The repairs took a little over 3 weeks to complete.

January 2021 we had a hail storm with golf ball sized hail. My repair ended up costing right at 8k if I remember correctly to my 2020 ranger. If I can dig up the pictures I will share, but it looked great after the repair. PDR is amazing.

I am sure glad we don't get that kind of hail here in Western Oregon. Pea size is about the largest.
