COVER IT WITH SOMETHING!! We went to dinner one night. A freak store blew in with small hail stones. I noticed a couple of small dents on one rail. Brough the truck to Dent Pro. They put their special light on it ---holly sh*t. The estimate was $3300. Ford recalled the 2019 truck, little dents and all. Very lucky, cover it!

I use to get up, even at 3am and go to car wash when we would get warnings. Glad I have a garage now.

Also, when we first moved in, it was just a free-standing shed with no floor. We had a cement floor poured that encompassed all existing uprights, so I think that helped strenghten it.

Ranger fits in the garage. Wife's minivan doesn't (too wide) so I figure if the forecast is for large and bad hail I'll drive it across town to the quarter car wash and park it in one of the stalls.

Probably not necessary...anything baseball size hail would beat the frame down anyway and cost $10,000...

That reminds me, why do they use coins to describe hail size? I mean, I have never seen hail shaped like a dime. Am I right? Now if they said "we have reports of hail the diameter of a quarter", that would make sense. vs "quarter size hail."
