I think some rear shackles have length adjustment options but I'm not comfortable changing those dimensions as it alters some geometry in the rear. I think there are wedges available to adjust pinion angles?

I think I'd be reluctant to add blocks although I don't think it has a radical affect on the driveshaft angle. Maybe a combo of the two for lifting? That isn't one of my goals.
as soft as these are- blocks even at 1” may cause some axle wrap. extended shackles may too for that matter. in not messing with it though. it works, leaving it as is! no need to introduce new headaches

got an idea- ditch the two overloads and use a tacoma progressive add a leaf kit. it would keep the heigh but add some strength to the pack.

I hauled a loaded up 5x8 U Haul trailer and bed full of stuff about 200 miles with the new spring setup and the truck was stable with no perceptible squat. Didn't exceed 75 MPH. I know 65 is supposed to be the limit but the majority of the drive was flat and straight with little traffic.

I've previously towed the 6x12 trailer 650 miles keeping to 70 MPH max on the factory springs for comparison.

The multileafs may be individually thinner than the Tremor stack or the Deavers but so far an upgrade from the monoleafs for sure.

mine still ride like they should! really soft. maybe too soft sometimes. my next suspension is 6112/5160. the softer digressive nature will be a bit better for me on street. DC beltway requires some evasive driving on a regular basis…

I don't deal with terrible traffic these days but remembering how it can be made me consider adding the Roadmaster suspension for the rear and tweaking the front suspension a little.

so today after loading up for camping- springs got a solid w shape to them. springs are wrapping themselves around the overload.
Alittle unsure of it. i emailed deaver for suggestions

That can be normal, the overload is there just for that, but if the load exceeds the spring rating then the overload does most of the work, but the name says it all.

The springs can heavily lay on the overloads, but if the spring lays on the ends of the overload and still droops down, so the spring is bend over the end of the overload, that would concern me.

I will say the guy at Deavers is no dummy, they are one of the better spring shops I have been in, he may suggest an additional leaf or two.

Just curious, but why did you replace the Eibachs?

They have a (basically) lifetime warranty if they went bad.

Just looking for a firmer shock for the rear?

believe it or not- they started to feel like i had no mid stroke support for some reason. i’ve never had much luck with warranties so when i pulled them i threw them in the trash. wasn’t happy about it, but with two small kids i just don’t have the time/energy hahaha

more recent observations- sitting almost 3/4” to 1” lower on drivers side. something is up.

i’m going to dig in it this weekend.

might be time to swap to a pair of tremors or just spend the money on deavers.

My tremor leaf pack is sitting lower on drivers side about the same. Noisy as heck too so I took the isolator pads out and put in some neoprene rubber to quiet them down

i found my problem. damn garage floor was a shit pour. floor ain’t level.

i also recently upgraded to tremor springs- got new ones from the dealer. I do feel they are a bit softer, but definitely don’t have the droop the globals do.
