Well, got my truck back today from the check-up. Of course, nothing found, no issues reported meaning fill level was at the same mark they put on the dipstick. They did pull a sample for me which I will send to blackstone for analysis. Of course I know Ford will not take that as evidence of a problem, but it will help me decide how I proceed. I did take a smell of the sample bottle and it had a faint whiff of gasoline, but not the strong odor that was present on the initial factory fill. Will update once I receive analysis.

My oil level has not changed since I reported it to the dealer. They changed the oil and filter, made crude scratch marks on both sides of the dipstick and sealed the oil cap and dipstick with a blob of sealer. The sealer was not mentioned on service ticket nor to my service adviser as we checked the oil together when i picked up the truck.
Was something else done to solve the problem that wasn't noted or did the problem just go away for now? Who knows....

Just did my first oil change at 3419 miles. (My truck was built July 2019 FWIW)
I have attached the Blackstone Test Results below.
In the comments, they say: "nothing took us by surprise".
Perhaps someone else here at 5G has another opinion or a different interpretation of these results?

I should be doing my first change this weekend and sending off a sample to Blackstone. If my report looks like this, I'll be happy.

Hey thanks John!
To all.... FWIW.... when I checked my oil several times after reading/following this thread, it did smell of gas. It wasn’t overwhelming, but I definitely smelled fuel. I am very happy with this report. However, I am going to send a sample with each/every oil change to document, and I will continue to follow this thread to help others if I can.

Just took my Ranger in for excessive amount of fuel in the oil. They changed the oil marked the stick and are going to have me bring it back in 500 miles. They seem to think after conferring with Ford that it's in the PVC system. Will post follow up after the 500 mile check!

I have 365 miles on my 2020 Ranger. The oil level when I brought it home (12 miles) was slightly above the hash marks. Now it is above the top hole but not yet to the twist of the dip stick. Disappointing since everything else on my Ranger seems to be excellent.

Does this problem diminish after full break-in?
I have 9100 miles on my Ranger and just took mine in for that problem. They changed the oil marked the dipstick and told me to bring it back in 500 miles. They seem to think it's in the PVC system. I had 1600 miles on the last oil change and I was up to the twist on the stick. The same goes for me no other problems!

Gene, how many miles did you have when the oil level stopped rising?

You would think this problem would have been straighten out for the 20 model year. I don't like the sound of this I hope it's not a design flaw, was hoping a part threw at it would solve the problem. Looks like most of the guys complaining about this are 19 model year like mine!

I thought I'd pass this along.

I talked with the Service Manager last week at the dealership where we bought our Ranger. He said they have not had any Rangers in for service that had the "Fuel In Oil" issue.

He did say however that they have experienced other Ford vehicles, not Rangers, that have injectors that "drain down". He said you'll notice somethings up because when you go to start the truck it will crank a bit longer than usual before it fires up.
