Yeah I know but if I do have any issues hopefully Honda will stand behind their product. It is a direct inject engine but not a turbo it's a V 6 . If I have an issue and they refuse to take care of it then I would be done with Honda too ! I will not support a company that does not stand behind...
Exactly how I felt,BULLSHIT! I got rid of mine and bought a Honda Ridgeline makes you leary of American companies. Tried to support an American manufacturer and got screwed!
I had a 2011Subaru Outback good car but you couldn't keep low beam headlight bulbs in it. I had the car for almost 9 years and changed 6 low beam bulbs. My girlfriend has the same year and I finally put LED bulbs in hers a couple of years ago, so far their still holding out. Subaru ended up...
I sent a sample to Blackstone with the level a little over the top dot they sent me a 6% fuel dilution . That last change when I pulled the extra 36 ozs out the level was up to the twist it had to be way more than 6% more than I wanted to keep dealing with and no support from Ford. Anybody else...
Just trying to see if Ford ever does the right thing and takes care of it's customers. And probably still doing some venting. The whole thing really pissed me off!
Your 100% right I would not have worried about 5% but with an extra 36 ozs I was way above 5% ! I did end up dumping the truck which I really didn't want to do but didn't want to fight with Ford. I really liked the truck I had no other problems with the truck! Just a damn shame to be treated...
They didn't care about an analysis they didn't recognize it. I made four trips to the dealer for this issue and they considered it fixed, I had an open case with Ford didn't make any difference!
I drained 36 extra ozs. out of my truck the last time I changed my oil I carefully measured the amount. I change my own oil so I know exactly how much I put in, ! If you can't take the majority of short trips then that should be stated in your manual! I had 26,350 on the truck!
You have people on this thread that don't have the issue so they think it doesn't exist, it does and it's serious for some and after spending as much money as these trucks cost you shouldn't have to try and find a solution on your own, and if you can't take short trips in a vehicle what the hell...
Yeah it is ashame their handling it like they are. I really liked my truck to but got tired of dealing with Ford's denial and got rid of mine, didn't want to but couldn't put up with their bulls""t any longer, GOOD LUCK with what ever you decide!!
Nothing normal about putting an extra quart or more of fuel in the oil in less than for some a few hundred miles. I agree with you 100% you should be able to drive these vehicles in any length of miles without the worry of severe fuel dilution. It is not fair as you stated to put this burden on...
I didn't worry about it till it got past that top hole, for awhile it hung around that area then it moved up to the twist. I ran for about 3 or 4 thousand right near that top hole.
