Since I couldn't find the circumference for my actual tire size I plugged in generic circumference and drove by one of those signs that tell you your speed. It was a bit high. So I divided the numbers and got a percentage to multiply the original number. Used that and it's dead on on the second try.

I like your process, but choice of tools (the radar speed sign) may be questionable as to its accuracy.
I was going to suggest GPS, but same question would apply. But would be interesting for you to compare.

I drive by several in different cities and they all match up. So, unless they're all wrong in the exact same way I'm good.

I set mine based on the spreadsheet calculations, manually adjusting the hex.

I then confirmed with my dedicated GPS receiver that I compared my speedo to the recognized GPS speed to, within ~0.25-0.5mph variance which is acceptable to me. I 0% trust those speed signs, they're typically not nearly as accurate.

I would be interested to see if that works on the Ranger, too. If nobody else tries it, I may give it a go in the next week or so.

Hello,

Has anyone successfully enabled the Off-Road screen in an European Ford Ranger Wildtrak 2020 and have the ANGLES working? I have enabled it via Forscan :

Off Road GaugeEnables Off-road gauges (enable in conjunction with Off-road Screen)IPCGizmokid2005
Off-road ScreenEnables off-road gauges (enable in conjunction with Off Road Gauge)IPC720-07-02 (x3xx xxxx xxxx)Gizmokid2005 / WhiteLightning19 (AS-BUILT)

but as you can see in the picture, NO ANGLES are displayed - only the steering angle and diff lock icon (if turned on) :\

Do I also need the Terrain Management knob or any other sensors for this to start working?

Many thanks for your help and greetings from Slovenia.

I would say that the angles come from airbag or ESP control unit. The knob is only for selection.

I'm not sure where the angles come from, but I do know that the TM knob is not required for them to work. My angles worked before and after I purchased and installed a TM knob in my truck.

Yeah...I'm not too worried. There is a way to use your VIN to get that as built for your vehicle. I'm more worried/scared of my wife and how mad she will be...lol. I can hear it now..."What do you mean..Uh Oh???"
Old thread, but I just did the install and swap as well, same issue on mine when trying to write miles is cancels at 2%... battery was reading .4 less then it should, so maybe I gotta have it full charged. Swapped the steering switch to lariat as well to try and coordinate with the speedo, now trying to get the as built for a lariat SCCM to see what differs from theirs to mine. Ima order that OBD you got too, mine is the older one that has a switch lol

You can add miles but not reverse them, that’s why you get a cluster with less miles

Has anyone tried enabling the "Turbo Boost Gauge" option in the IPC module?
