I agree with @D Fresh and @Grumpaw about lowered Rangers. @Doc and @66F100 have great looking trucks and @Mirage775 is likely in his garage building his as I type this.

However, that Tucci Maverick isn’t doing it for me - maybe it’s those wheels or that cab roof spoiler - not sure what it is but I’m not a fan.
Not really a "fan" of the Tucci...it is lowered a bit too much, and wheels look ridiculous, but it does throw ideas out of what could be done. Just think a 2 door or extended cab version would look good...I'm just not a fan of 4 doors.

to be honest I am not a fan either - but I recognize the creativity and that it will appeal to some.
But I am not going to crap all over it because I dont like it - WTF
to be clear I am agreeing with you Duke

This is exactly what I meant. I've seen LOTS of lowered trucks that look HOTT! The Tucci one, though...no.

For Shame !!! I guess that means you find these original, factory lowered trucks offensive...
The original Ford Lightning's....lowered at the factory...
Yuckers, lol. If I don't like something, I'll crap all over it, but we like what we like and that's all that matters. Different strokes for different folks!

Are you vomiting with offence?! Hahaha!
Only metaphorically. I also think Ranger has weird proportions and shape in the supercab model ;)

For the 5g Rangers, I'm diggin' the low life look :) I've always wanted a mean looking lowered Ranger and when I saw the SCT SEMA '19 Ranger, I knew what I was gonna do!

Unfortunately, I'm not working on it at the moment, LOL! When the suspension drop stuff gets here, I'll definitely be in the garage! I'm excited to get this truck together and hoping some jackass doesn't hit me, in this town full of awful drivers!

LOVE the IDEA!
But the execution sucks.
Looks like a $3 plastic toy, right off the shelf at Walmart.
And a bit wimpy to! mostly it is the sissy looking color scheme and those GAWD AWFUL wheels
Or is it OFFAL wheels? ?

That is my truck. There are a few other lowered Rangers sneaking around here. Check out the last 10 or 12 pages of posts on the thread @Anybody planning to lower their 2019 Ranger?. Plenty of pics and a couple of these lowered trucks are 4wd.

Thank you for all of your compliments. I decided to go the lowered sport truck route because I use my truck as a daily commuter and weekend hauler. I want the best in fuel economy and on road performance. The ride is now more harsh but firm and sporty. I am very happy with the look and performance.

I truly like trucks that are custom and one-of-a kind. These SEMA trucks are inspiring but I like to go my own way and use my creativity to build a custom truck that I can call "mine". If we all built overland, baja, Tonka trucks the scene would be boring. "To each their own!"

I have always loved the original Lightning trucks. They are an inspiration for my Ranger build.

Those wheels on the Maverick are terrible. If they were black they might look better. I agree to each his own. Lowered looks pretty sweet but only the supercab for me not the 4 door it just looks weird to me.

It's the cab spoiler, color, and ride height.

I think a dropped Maverick could be cool if done right. But it'd take some work.

One must think of SEMA show vehicles like a fashion show . The outfits may look weird , strange or downright silly , but you can appreciate the supermodel that's underneath all that wacky clothing .

I like a good lowered truck and made a good living customizing them during the mini-truck craze of the 90's . The crew cab does look awkward but these two are on the right track .
