The Ranger is definitely a bigger truck close to the current F150's, here are a couple of pics of mine along side my dad's 2017 F150. These trucks are both XLT with the Sport 4x4 Package.I still think the Maverick is taking away a good portion of truck sales too. There are many who think the Ranger is still to large and like the smaller platform of the Maverick. The Ranger is the size of my '96 F150 so I can see the reasoning in this. Back then the older Ranger was much smaller and it sold like crazy because the F150 was to big. Hence the reason the Maverick is such a hit and now add the hybrid option when gas prices are at an all time high.
Plus there are a lot of smaller business who will benefit more from a Maverick. Small one man businesses like pool guys or retired/semi retired contractors can now have a smaller work truck and still use it as a daily driver.
Boy you can really see the difference in width in your first picture. The front end looks like a Mack truck compared to the Ranger. lolThe Ranger is definitely a bigger truck close to the current F150's, here are a couple of pics of mine along side my dad's 2017 F150. Yup LOL, I actually downsized from an F150 to the Ranger, much happier with my choice, dad can keep his F150.Boy you can really see the difference in width in your first picture. The front end looks like a Mack truck compared to the Ranger. lol
Motors dropping valves into the cylinders.it’s quite weird because all my area Ford dealers send me crap asking to buy my Ranger. When I was chatting with my salesman two weeks ago while my Ranger was getting serviced he told me they largely can’t hold onto Rangers. They sell quickly. They just don’t get many of them. So yeah, I think y’all are onto something. It’s less of a problem with the vehicle, and more of a problem with Fords approach and management of getting units into consumers hands.
I’ve not paid attention to the bronco launch besides the chipping paint on the hard tops. What else went wrong?
consider it a preview of the 6gBoy you can really see the difference in width in your first picture. The front end looks like a Mack truck compared to the Ranger. lol
Looks like there the ranger still outsold the maverick by 60K? Am i missing something? In the last 2 years the Maverick outsold the Ranger by just over 20%.

Yes and no. The Maverick orders are so backed up compared to the Ranger. Can't sell what you Can't build. Simple as that!
And Ranger orders are backed up because of the Bronco. It's a vicious circle!Yes and no. The Maverick orders are so backed up compared to the Ranger.
I know it's just ironic that Ford can't build certain models because others are taking parts from them. Ranger sales would look a lot better if it didn't share the same platform as the Bronco. Or we weren't in the parts mess!I guess what I was saying is the Ranger isn't getting outsold by the Maverick because they can't build enough Rangers. The Maverick is outselling the Ranger despite it being even harder to get one.
