If anyone is still out there, I’m alive but struggling. Food is running low. Down to only 459 days worth. My hands are super sanitized and my butt is super clean. Down to 1599 rounds of ammo (dropped 1 round down the heat vent while doing daily inventory). Power still on, but for how long? Missing human interaction but I have my dogs.. for now.. (I'm soaking their food in BBQ sauce in an attempt to marinate them from the inside in case I have to eat them) . I fear dark days ahead. News is all bad. Neighbors have attempted to leap from windows to their death, (or near death... most have single story homes so they are badly bruised). Blew through most Netflix series so may have to rewatch some again..Basic Survival is a definite challenge. I vow to persevere to the end, I am a survivor! Please, if there is life out there, communicate with me to help preserve my sanity..

THIS. You win the Internet today. A much needed LOL from this guy.

Cleared off beautifly here yesterday from the heavy overnite rains, so time to visit Skyline's upper trails, see some outback area!! The flowers are out in full force, and still cool enough to keep most of the snakes off the trails!!! Hiked in /out about seven miles, and only passed two people, so still "Socially distanced"!!! Lookout point is about 2200 feet, and lots of butterflys out!! Left a few photo's!!

How do you think this will affect the shootings in Chicago? Probably nothing
The mayor of Baltimore asked the people to stop shooting each other during the coronavirus epidemic.....

Hi Doc,

I thought that the mayors of Chicago and Baltimore indicated to their residents that they must wipe every bullet with a clorox wipe before loading into their gun...That way if they do not kill the intended target, but hits the target, the poor target does not become infected... I belive that these mayors are very well intended and being humane, eh?

My guess is it will get worse. When the animals can't find food they will start stealing it whether it be from others homes or right out of their hands while in the parking lots.

I don't think I've mentioned this before but my girlfriend still lives there. We've been doing the long distance thing for a long time but mostly because she was caring for her sick mom. When she passed she was getting ready to move but her daughter was having trouble finding a good steady job so she was now helping her out. Fast forward daughter now has a good job (hopeful still) and this shit happens! So needless to say I've been sick to my stomach and I've already told her if things get worse there I'm driving out there and picking her up. Hopefully I'm over-reacting as she's not in a terrible neighborhood but it's still Chicago non the less.:frown:

So it is 4am eastern. I sit here as I am staffing my company's Covid 19 Hotline for impacted employees and locations. It is amazing how something like this has absolutely crippled the planet. I live in MD, my daughter is in school in Orange County, CA, hope to have her home Monday, but the ONE thing that concerned me with her being out there was what if "something" happens... crazy how little control we have when these things happen, but also how people are so willing to support and help. For all the insane stories of hording and price gouging, there are still a ton of really good people out there.

I consider myself very lucky to be part of a company that goes to the lengths it does to help it's employees, yet I am also very fearful that, if this lasts, am I at risk of a layoff as many are dealing with right now. Has me rethinking and appreciating many things personally and professionally. Definitely need to be better prepared because this will not be the last time something like this happens.

Guess one serious question I have is how mad will my daughter be when I hose her down in Lysol when she comes out of the airport?!
