I really dug my Yakima Holdup other than what you pointed out. Replaced to allow fat bike carriage with a Thule which I also really love. They’re both sturdy racks but not exactly easy to take on and off a lot. ?
I'll follow up with a noob question of my own: does removal of the air dam have an impact on fuel mileage positively? I only ask because I recently installed an AVS Aeroskin deflector, and it definitely lowered my fuel mileage just a bit. I suspect the flare in the middle of the deflector is a...
There's NO disputing it originated in China. Yeah, maybe the OP was sucked in with his chosen media sources but you're being pretty judgmental in shaming him. There's a been no shortage of propaganda being spread both domestically and internationally and it's hard to separate the truth from...
Well. The Kawasaki plant here in Lincoln, NE has closed its doors for a minimum of 2 weeks. It wasn't a government mandated closure, but a critical parts supply shortage. 50+ suppliers across the country closed unfortunately. Luckily, the company's doing its best to keep us taken care of for...
Today the proverbial dominoes are falling for my company's suppliers. We've fielded calls from suppliers in NY, Pennsylvania, Illinois, MIssouri, Wisconsin, and California .... all closing for multiple weeks. I'll be utterly shocked if I'm sitting at my desk next week.
My employer, Kawasaki, is still running as normal for now but suppliers are beginning to close and I suspect we will run out of parts soon. This is just absolutely insane.
First of all, everything I end up stating below is all of your collective faults. Without this forum, the investments / improvements to my Ranger probably wouldn't have happened .... or at least to this extent. Secondly, nearly everything I've done to my Ranger came from ideas generated from...
Just caught this thread: much gnar has already been hauled and shredded in my Ranger since purchase in November. Though I'm running a hitch mounted Thule tray style rack. I'm actually having a 2.5" level kit put on this week since the Ford rake tilts the bikes forward in the rack and I don't...
Probably a noob question, but I'll ask nonetheless: can a technologically challenged person just take their Ranger into the dealership for this Sync 13.4 update?
Amen to that statement. I'm a magnetic owner, and voted for it but dang if this thing just attracts the dust. And, living on the rolling plains of Nebraska, there are about 3 days a year where the wind isn't blowing that glorious dust around. But I digress. I'm a full-on magnetic supporter...
I received this exact box in the mail last week -- minus the damn hardware in both boxes! Weather Tech's customer service hasn't been all that impressive, as they sent the replacement hardware in 3 separate packages on ground delivery service. First world problem to be sure, but frustrating...
I’m a manager in the import/export/logistics department for the Kawasaki plant in Lincoln, NE. We’re the only plant in the world that makes the Mule, Teryx, and JetSki products. Sister plant next door makes mass transit rail cars for the east coast railways.
Like it or not, the dealership is (to most people) the face of Ford. I'm sure many dealerships have sent customers running to other brands for reasons having nothing to do with the vehicles themselves.
