Been in finance last 20 years. Snopes can eat a ding a ling. There’s been a pandemic every few years around the election cycles. Some get more play then others.

Also snopes as a site os a joke compared to what it started out as. Just saying.

There's a happy medium between mindless panic and putting your head in the sand. SARS had a total of about 8k cases, 774 deaths (9.6% fatality rate). COVID-19 already passed 100k cases and 4k deaths. A lower fatality rate, but much greater impact.
