Anytime you get hit in the rear its the other drivers fault, unless you brake checked them and they can prove it, like a dash cam video. Her insurance has to cover it less your deducible.
You should not have to pay anything , including a deducible . There is also a loss of value that you can collect if it is the other persons fault . Time wasted and a few tears is the only thing you should lose .

Agree, I was going to say in the ballpark of $6-$7k.
They won't replace the whole bed, just the bed side.

I replaced one of my tail lights for around $250 from Ford. All needed was the lens which I couldn't buy.
That's because your XL doesn't have all the sensors in the tail light for blind spot monitoring.

The offender should pay for all of it...
Oh she definitely is
Collision repair math: G(π²+E)+T.
Your outrageous guess (G) times pi squared (9.8696) Plus environmental fees (E) plus tax (T). What looks like $1,000 damage will run around $10,369.60 plus $500 environmental, plus tax; should get ya pretty close.

Corporate drone. Dilbert's world is alive & well.
So OP never came back (last visit was April '23) to wrap this thread up? Sucks.

I'm thinking that the frame damage turned into a major problem. In the modern world "totalled" would not surprise me. Sucks. But again... modern world.

Was on my way home from the dealership and I got rear ended, everyone is fine. Got home and found out the driver side of the bed is wrinkled up to where a new bed will probably need to be installed. Wasn’t my fault so her insurance will take care of it but was wondering how much it could cost them to replace the bumper, light, tailgate, and bed itself??

I had someone rearend mine a few months ago. The bumper didn't get into the sheet metal so no problem there. For new bumper, hitch, top cover, a couple of trim pieces that go underneath, bumper painting, labor and recalibrating the park sensors cost the insurance company $2,200.

Nope, the perp 's insurance pays your deductible as well. Your ins doesn't cover rental? Her insurance will be picking that up.

You should be made whole when not your fault.

Good luck!
