So dealing with the long travel/mushy pedal I tried the Forscan ABS bleed, didn’t really make it any better, I know some reported it worked for them so don’t discount trying it, then while the truck was in the shop yesterday for the global leaf spring swap I had them do a traditional bleed, unfortunately that did nothing.
Then I found this post by member AdamHarris about making a small adjustment to the brake booster threaded rod or pin, I tried it and now the pedal at full stop is even with the gas pedal instead of going lower to the firewall at full stop, so this is the fix I was hoping for.
