Very similar, I went from an 04 Ranger FX4 to a 13 F-150 5.0, to a 97 Lariat (still have, very low miles), and now my 19 f150 xl FX4 5.0... it is a disaster.I went from a 2005 Ranger to a 2011 F150 and then a 2015 F150. They were both great trucks, had no problems with either one of them but wanted to down size to a 2020 Ranger supercab FX4. I was leery of the 10 speed transmission but it has been flawless as well as the 2.3 engine. I average around 23 mpg around town, have gotten up to 30 mpg on long road trips. Happy with my Ranger so far
