I remember that ZR2 from some face book pages I'm on.
If I remember right, the owner finally fessed up that he was driving at high speed when the frame bent. Or, it was someone in his group or knew him that said he was the cause of the damage.

Reminds of a guy that had a brand new Tacoma and completely flooded it "offloading" Like to the point it was stuck for days in the mud hole. Wanted his insurance to pay for a new truck. Posted the entire episode on a Tacoma FB page

I make good money and have money. I just for the life of me, ever think of hammering a brand new vehicle just because its 4wd or "offroad" rated.
And then expect you insurance to pay you for it when you total it out.

Sad thing is we all pay... through higher insurance rates. Well, all of us that have insurance anyways.

Hey, nowadays everything is someone else's fault.

Why not include poor decisions too?

As far as insurance not paying because it was not an accident , that's not all insurance is for . A customer of mine back in 2003 dropped a log as big as the truck in his 2 year old S10 bed and crushed it to the ground ,LOL. Insurance paid no problem.

Sounds like an accident to me.

Or did he do it on purpose?

On purpose. He used a Lull and was going to move it to a sawmill.
Unless there is criminal intent to fraud the insurance company they will usually pay.

Damn. At a certain point you'd think negligence would come into play.

I'd never imagine filing an insurance claim if did something that retarded. Note to self.
