How do you like the SPD downpipe? I'm thinking of getting one but I don't want it to be extremely loud, especially on start up. How is the sound difference for you? Can it be heard from inside the cabin?
I haven't installed it yet. Waiting for a stainless front pipe so I dont have to double the work. I can update you once it is installed.

Wouldn't be your fault if culprit accidentally tripped and hit their head on the rock you were carrying...
Actually, if they are on your property, in California, you are liable. Stupid, but that's how it is.

Just finished my SPD downpipe install, as well as replaced the front pipe with a 3" stainless pipe. I did the break in procedure, but have to let the engine cool before driving it any, so I have only heard it at up to 2500 rpm so far.

That being said, I love it so far. The MBRP catback was a little too mild for me, but now it definitely has a nice growl and does not sound like a 4 banger at all .

I can't yet comment on drone or anything, but will let you know after tomorrow.

So in a year when both crimes increased drastically you are still over 25% more likely to be murdered in this country than have your cat stolen.
If I catch anyone trying to steal my cat they will be 100% murdered.

It is loud, but it doesn't drone. Personally, I think it's great. It takes the MBRP exhaust from a mild tone to moderate/aggressive one, without droning.

It is definitely loud in the cab when you get on it, but when I have my radio cranked up (Level 20/30 on the B&O system) I can only barely hear it. These Rangers will never have the sound of a V8, but I really like the sound it has now.

That being said, if you are looking for something quiet, you might want to add a muffler or something. I didn't hook it up with the 2.5" front pipe ever, but if you use the stock front pipe, it may make a noticeable difference.

If you have a push button start, get one of these and put your keys in it while not in use. They have a way of getting the information off your key fob and can start your car in a few seconds.

YouTube video.
Anyone know of one of these that works for a hitchsafe? I am not worried about they key in my pocket so much as leaving a key inside the hitchsafe. I can wrap it in foil if nothing else.

You're welcome. Videos usually don't accurately portray the actual sound, but if you want I can make one.
That would be awesome! I'm looking for some more power but not trying to wake up my neighbors early in the morning. So I'm kinda curious if there's a big difference on cold startup with a downpipe upgrade vs stock in addition to the mbrp catback(rear dual).

I just uploaded the video, so give it a bit to finish processing, but here it is:

My wife’s thought is that a Ruger sticker on the back of a vehicle may help with their selection process.
Your wife would be wrong.

Firearm and "tactical" stickers scream "there's something valuable in here. Come take it."
