I have installed my Smartcap (loving it) I noticed there strategically placed nuts on the ceiling of the cap. I'm guessing to mount stuff. My question is WHAT STUFF????? Anyone utilized these nuts?

Question: Do you all mount the kayaks right side up or down? I own a 12-8" Sit on top angler kayak. I have it mounted on a rack on top of a Smart Cap. If I keep it right side up it can get water in it. If I turn it upside down, it does not fit correctly on the Yakima feet. Really getting tired...
