Can I add a lift to a 3” leveling kit for better tire clearance?

I installed a 3” leveling kit and still get the rub with sharp turns. The nose still looks angled down. I would like another 2” of lift without breaking the bank. Any solutions?

If you do that, there‘ll be so many other things you’ll need to do that you’ll have to rob the bank.

Your offset is the problem - it’s either too low, zero, or negative. Remove, modify or replace your anti-intrusion beams.

No way it’s nose is down unless you changed something at the back end. Have a side profile shot?

Your suspension is already compromised in terms of articulation and geometry with a level. Not to mention the stock shocks and struts are crap Your best bet is to go with adjustable coilovers and UCA’s. I sucked up the cost and I’m glad I did.

3" of lift in front is already too much IMO. The front drive shafts are already at a big angle. The ford lift is 2" so I assume that 2" is safe for wear and tear. I went 1.8" with Bilstein level struts. How is your front lifted now?
I thought more lift required a dif drop kit an or aftermarket upper control arms. I saw someone (spicer?) announced a heavy duty front cv shaft for the bronco. If that fits it might help too.

Am I doing damage to what I currently have? Will what your describing give me a better, softer, ride?

Looked at your other threads.

It's the combo of your 0 offset wheels and the 285s that is causing your rubbing.

Researching your mods will keep this from happening. There's a lot of info here, you just have to read it.

Does a suspension lift actually solve the fit problems of larger tires? I would assume the travel in the suspension would be the same. At full compression if you were rubbing pre-lift seems you would be after the lift as well.

Now I guess I could see how a spacer lift could allow bigger tires but confused how a suspension lift would actually fit bigger tires?

Just found this video which supports what I was saying about a suspension lift.

A nearly 33” tire with 0 offset is going to rub on crash bars. You are going to need to modify them or remove them to fix your rubbing issue.

Not damage, what I mean is that a leveling kit using spacers reduces ride quality and doesn’t give you any suspension benefits other than tire clearance. Upper ball joints can also bind with a lift/level of 3 inches or more without addressing the the upper control arm geometry.

Ride quality is light years ahead with adjustable coilovers and UCA’s. It’s like driving a different truck. I also gained suspension travel since the struts and shocks themselves are longer and adjustable.
