I purchased a set of Black Chrome factory style lug nuts for my XL steel wheels. They had to have the bulge ring to retain the plastic factory hub cap. But after just one tire rotation and one winter they are covered in rust. These were the Lug Nuts I purchased: Amazon.com: Wheel Accessories Parts 24 Pcs M12x1.5 12x1.5 Thread OEM Style Lug Nuts 1.25" 32mm Long Black Chrome 3/4" 19mm Hex Hex Fits Ford Bronco (NO Raptor) Ranger (NO Raptor) CV6Z-1012-C | 611-303 : Automotive
Any suggestions on a set that have the factory bulge that is true Black Chrome that will not rust?
I was looking at these: Amazon.com: White Knight M12x1.5 Lug Nuts for Select Ford Bronco, Escape, EcoSport, Fiesta, Focus, Fusion, Ranger and Lincoln Corsair, MKs. Factory Style (Black Chrome) Bulge Acorn – WN30307BK-24AM (24 Pack) : Automotive
But I just don't trust the advertising hype.
