So I went ahead and did the deal. I traded the 2022 Tremor for the 2024 barely used (800-ish miles after test drives) Lariat FX4. I'll admit I like the looks of the Tremor over the Gen6, but I can make some mods to get it looking like I want it to.
Driving is where the big difference is...
Thanks for all the feedback. The particular 2.7 I’m looking at is LOADED. FX4 Lariat with it appears every single available option, and since it is technically used I think I can get it for well under $50k, so to me it seems like a good deal. I still haven’t driven it but will yet today or...
I found a dealer with practically new 2024 Lariat 2.7 FX4 that I think I can get for a reasonable price. I currently have a 2022 Tremor that I really like but the Lariat has some nice features plus the bigger engine. Aside from spending more money, is there a downside to the 2.7? I’ll drive it...
It depends on how many miles are on the "trip" you're calling your truck's MPG (assuming Trip 1). If it has a million miles on it to get 21.5 mpg, then one trip of 110 miles isn't going to move the needle.
I got the McGard ones off of Amazon and so far have had no issues.

I've learned a lot about extended warranties since I started following this forum when I bought my Tremor in April of 2023. I wish I'd have known at the time of purchase what I've since learned, but live and learn I guess.
One question I have, is if you've already purchased an ESP, is it...
I went through a WOW carwash about a month or two ago and got an air freshener as part of the wash. I removed it from the package and slung it over the gear shift lever because I don't like things dangling from the mirror. Yesterday I went to throw out the air freshener because it was pretty...
Ford dealer wanted to see the documentation from Discount Tire. I told them they didn't give me any, and they said there's nothing they can do then. My dealer sucks.
Now that's interesting. Discount told me the numbers, but said there's nothing they can do about it other than a standard balance.
What did they do to bring your tire's 64lbs down to 16?
I'm sort of surprised you want to upgrade the Tremor suspension. It's already a LOT better than the non-Tremor setups. Is there a specific problem you're trying to solve?
UPDATE: I had a road force balance done at Discount Tires. Three tires were within spec, one was out a bit. The tech didn't give me a printout, he just showed me what he scribbled on paper. The three "good" tires were from 11 to 17 pounds(?) while the "bad" tire was 24 pounds. I'm not sure...
