I removed the crash bars, cut the brackets, stretched and trimmed the fender liners and bent the core support.

I no longer have those tires though. I now have 285/60/18 and they don’t hit anything at all and are so much lighter.

What offset are your wheels? I'm about to order some 0mm offsets I know that theyll push the face of the wheel outwards about 2", just trying to get an idea of want to know what they'll look like actually on the truck.

They are technically +30 but I also have a 30mm spacer which makes them effectively 0 Offset.

I saidbi would post here when i did this.

255/75/17

No rub! Ride is so much smoother too. Like a whole new set of shocks. Acceleration feels like a big truck. Fixed speedometer with forscan. All stock vehicle. Only mod is tailgate strut assist.

absolutely, I used my angle grinder and just followed the same shape the lip already had but just a little bit inward, I took off a little and went and drove around to see if it still rubbed and it did so I took a little more off now we should be good, just a little at a time, you can always take some off but can't put it back on, I don't think anyone is even gonna notice. After I was done I smoothed it out with a piece of sandpaper and it looks good I think!

Unless I missed a part of the thread I don't see anyone discussing the largest tire size w/o modifications for 16" rim. My 2023 XL 4x4 Extended Cab has OEM Bridgestone Dualer HS in 255/70R16 and I need to move up to a true LT tire for moving heavy materials in the bed. From what my math tells me I can squeeze a 265/75R16, which averages 31.5" diameter, into the front well with at least .75" to spare. Is this the be size or is a 245/75R16 a better fit, which is only pretty much the same 30.5" diameter as the OEM tire.

Your thoughts on the best/largest size for 16" rim w/o lift or spacers?..
