If you can find a tire in that size you may have a chance but you need to check the actual dimensions of it compared to what you have now and take some measurements between the tire and knuckle. I have 265/70-17 and if I want to go to a 285/70-17 I have to either get the 1/4 inch spacer or some wheels by OZ. Unfortunately I only uave about 1/2 inch between the knuckle and tire with my current setupRunning 265/70/R17 BFG AT2 on my truck... had the same setup with no lift... Did not have rubbing...
The question is... what is the biggest tire size that is possible with a 2.5" lift?
Would 265/75/R17 work?
Which wheels ? I have stock wheels and the Old Man EMU lift. Most everyone on here has gone with 1/4 inch wheel spacers to fit the 285/70-17 without an issue of rubbing. One other option it the OZ rally raid wheels as they bring the wheel out about 1/4 inch so you get the same effect but are still able to use the wheel studs all the way.Which wheels ? Lift ?
Like said just check the measurements of your current setup and the size of the taller tires. If the clearance is good then you are set to go.I was actually considering a taller tire, not wider...
Not without having to modify other parts in the front fender well. Itbis an unfortunate truth but it is what it is.would this work with 1" spacers instead of 1/4" spacers?
With that being said then you may be ok. Without doing what you already did then you become limited. Most everyones concern on here is rubbing the knuckle wich is fair as it gets real close with that wide of a tire. I think i have about 1/4 or 1/2 inch of clearance to my knuckle and I have the 265/70-17 Bridgestone Dueler Revo 3's on my truck. Later on I will go bigger but that will be after these wear out.I already removed the front air dams/spoilers, and im going to have the crash bars cut out and replaced with the BDS bars.
I figure that should be enough, at least i hope.
