Any issues now with rubbing???? I am looking at the exact same set up
I apologize, I have since traded that truck for a Roush Ranger awhile back. But I had no issues with the those tires, they were enough for my use and not too aggressive AT, that also looks great and very comfortable on the road.

I did mostly just soft-roading on sands here in long island, no issues or problems with it. It has great grip, comfortable on paved roads and negligible highway noise.

(I would be at Ranger6G if any further questions)

I went with the tires in my sig. They only seem to rub randomly on streets... i've not had them rub while offroading... I'll ignore for now.

Dumping my notes on the subject here for future readers with the decipher code from my mind:

"I have Toyo AT-III 33" tires on 17" Icon wheels with zero offset, low clearance crash bars and Fox 2.5 suspension & Icon rear leafs set to leveled height. Zero rub or issues with this setup, and was the same situation when I had Eibach 2.0 shocks and OME rear leafs.

I ran 275/65/18 with no issues. However, my truck is leveled with Eibach pro coilovers.

I recently upsized and upgraded from KO2 265 65 (stock) 18s to KO3 265 70 R18. Fx4 with fox 2.0 leveled. Got them at discount tire with zero trouble.

The stock suspension and rim combination don’t allow for a 33” to bolt straight on. You need a (3/8”) spacer, otherwise, it will rub against the spindle.

32.7 fits lifted - https://www.ranger5g.com/forum/threads/285-70-17-fitment.13277/
So an update on my end. With the Old Man EMU lift, 285/70-17 Firestone Destination XT on Factory Sport wheels with no spacers and using the Swaybar disconnect I only got a little rub turning when fully compressed up front. Simple fix, remover the plastic covers on the front crash bars and move the front crash bars forward. After that its all good. Other tires I can't say

+ 1 for the answer fitzmotor gave.
The oem tremor wheels are 17x8 with +42 offset (this is slightly different from the Ranger sport oem wheel offset of +55.. I’m unsure of the oem sport wheel width.)
275/70r17 is the “safe” largest tire with zero modifications..
Changing the intrusion bars/crash bars…
You’ll have a slight rub with 285/70r17’s
When the suspension compresses during a turn.. or the usual slight rub when reversing on less than smooth-ish surfaces..
When I was researching this that’s what I came up with based on.
Most to fit 285’s with as little lift as possible. Seem to do a 2” lift puck (from a stock ranger) ((this is a 1” to 3/4in increase over the Tremor specific stock height.)) and then because of the offset will run a spacer (1” wheel spacer pushes the offset to a +29.6mm) this is to provide clearance so the added width of the tire doesn’t rub against the control arm or steering knuckle/spindle, remove or use high clearance intrusion beams/crash bars..
And will still have on occasion ((our trucks do vary ever so slightly as well as our driving styles)) a slight rub during certain maneuvers..
275 vs 285 /70r17 difference is only really about a half inch (this will vary a bit depending on tire manufacturer and type ((M/T vs A/T vs R/T))..
