Best Lube for Driveshaft Splines?

What are you guys using to lube the Driveshaft Splines?

With Tom Woods one piece driveshaft, I've used this from Mobil 1.

This from amsoil is probably what I'll buy next time online, but Grainger had it in store that day.

Is there a specific type that is needed, like a standard for this application? Or just good heavy duty grease? Because im coming up to 100k and should probably do this as well.

AFIK from working on past vehicles like my old Tbird the shop manuals tend to say to use any HD grease like you would use in zerk fittings for grease. I have not checked the Ranger factory manual but would definitely recommend doing so. It's free and posted here on the forum.

Motorcraft XG1E1 Grease is what the workshop manual specifies, under ESA-M1C75-B.
I'd use a moly grease of a decent quality.
