A cautionary tale for anyone lubing the splines on their 2WD driveshaft.

The driveshaft is keyed, but can still be flipped 180 degrees.

Luckily, I'd ordered a 10 pack of boot clamps, so it wasn't a big deal, but I'm super annoyed with myself for making the mistake in the first place.

In high school (70's) I put the distributor in my girlfriends VW Beetle 180 degrees out. When we fired it up, huge backfires with visible flames. It was 12 midnight in her parents apartment complex, oops!
