You can get an OME add a leaf for about $50 each. Should work if you need more spring.
I haven't towed my boat (5k lbs) yet after installing the OME standard leafs a few weeks ago. Will update eventually, but I am 100% certain it'll tow better with it not riding the bump stops the whole way...
The fix is better than taping it up with the tail light tape and waiting for a torrential rain storm 6 months later to short out a bunch of harnesses on the truck. While on a cross country road trip lol.

Just did the standard OME springs this weekend with a BDS shackle for a total 2.5" lift.
Holy cow it is a smooth ride. First truck, so I never realized how bad the bump stops were slamming before. Paired with BDS NX2 shocks it's butter smooth. Without lifting I think you still end up riding...
Rear Fox 2.0 shocks helped, but far and away the best mod is OME leaf springs with a BDS shackle for a total 2.5" rear lift. Replaced Fox's with BDS shocks that can handle the 2.5" of lift, feels similar to Fox.
