Let us know your build date when you can. The other known build date of the same failure was 08/20 so it will be interesting to see yours. There were 3 or 4 more reported failures on here but they never responded with their build dates.
They look to be cast, and obviously from sub standard material, or by a substandard, or incorrectly applied process. You really shouldn't have to pay to get these fixed, not when a number of them have all come out with the same fault. Ford should be covering this - out of warranty or not. These assemblies are not fit for purpose.
100% happy about this dealership not giving me any hassle either. Just a call saying it’s covered.
