With the warmer than normal winter everything is blooming here now.

My cactus in the front yard

This is one of the largest Ocotillos I've seen in a while at the end of our street with flowers on every cane.

WE have a similar cactus in our front yard, but it blooms white. Ours opened overnight last night.

A few ski and mutt photos taken over the weekend. With warm temps and drizzle here, our base has gone down much.. The street party is the neighbor collage kids. They've been good ones but are gradating and leaving.

We skied yesterday starting at Quincy mine Hancock MI and went east. Not much snow left there since it see's much sun. Our season is winding down. Funny that sometime folks ask "isn't it flat in MI?)

Yes, they added that X years ago to move tourist down the hill and to a adite shaft to allow them into the mine for tours..

In general, the Upper Peninsula of Michigan is more hilly than the "Mitten." It is the flattest the more south and east you go.

Skiing Churning Rapids trails later today near Hancock MI in 60 degrees.

Good morning Ranger Camp fans! I am getting photos processed but it is a slow process for me. Here is the parking lot and ride out. It had been warm there so the tracks with a cargo sled parked, shows just how poor the 4x4 did on tires. I do have folks tell us "my 4x4 does fine in snow!". Good thing the 6x6 with its pods still on, was parked in the utility trailer or we'd have not got out.. The lowest photo shows the fog created my warm air and cool snow. With the snow as times being 2 to 1.5 ft tall and dropping into the water, it was a challenging trip. The water was never very deep. I'll post more later.
