While Arly's got more snow and still skiing we just had 3 days of 100* temps (the average is 77* down here this time of year) and now our cactus are blooming. lol

That ain't no joke about the weird weather. We're in drought like conditions in North Texas.

Your yard makes me jealous, I'll be mowing my yard this week or next. Then probably every week thereafter until it stops raining.

Oh, I can relate! My house back east I had 3 acres and a little over an acre of grass to mow. I use to enjoy doing the lawn (I had a 42" ExMark mower) and would have to cut it every 4-5 days because it grew so fast from me fertilizing it so much. lol After 15 years at that place it got to be a chore and this is so much easier to maintain but I miss my property and privacy but not the state.

I have about 2 acres, and have a 60" Toro Z. But what gets me is the trimming. We have a lot of uneven areas, and I trim about 50 yards of a small creek. So the push mower and string trimmer take as much time as the big mower.

A few photos taken over our three day stay at camp. They got between 2 and 3 ft of new snow there, but was warm when we showed up so working it was challenging. Bottom is grilled fresh lake trout.

I took this after I got home from Bonham, around 7:45 am. Check out this cloud formation. Standing in the back yard looking East.

A few snow shoots taken the past few days. Its warm and drizzling here today so our snow is really going down. Oh well, has been a good snow year. Top photos are wally parking lot. There civils don't seem to know they need to add space for snow storage! Our street below that and xcing.

With the warmer than normal winter everything is blooming here now.

This is one of the largest Ocotillos I've seen in a while at the end of our street with flowers on every cane.
