I've tried multiple times to inquire with Mishimoto about purchasing their snorkel system, guts only, to no avail or answer. I wanted to make a custom cold air intake and fender vent system. They were very active on this forum up till the release of their product then went completely dark. Basically they only cared enough to participate here until they could get the cash rolling then ditched this community.
I don't believe they ever answered our questions of "TF is the point of your snorkel when actually using it means ruining our alternator?" either.

I've used the snorkel several times. I think the altenator is good;
-in clean water, not mud
-if you have a decent enough bow wave to maybe create an air cavity behind the bumper for a short time

Just guess, but no problems on the water crossings I did!

Same here. I’ve been in some deep water crossings in my wrangler and no issues with the alternator.

OFC Ranger hooked it up with the Ranger Raptor file that he had found before. This is definitely just an idea of what it would be looking like and I absolutely love it.

*** I do know the headboard bar is too tall in the image so it will be changing.***

Once I get the tray on the truck I’ll finish up the headboard to put it exactly where it needs to be. I’m very excited for the Ranger now that this image is here haha. This thing is going to be badass!

So I was working on the tray some tonight and I made the executive decision to drop the Baja Designs S8 light bar in the rear because I was running out of material to make it look right. So maybe this will be a feature in the future versions.

As I was reading your comment, I was like damn I guess people are here for the pictures only. ??. But yes it is tall in the file because when I originally drew the tray I didn’t have something to esthetically design it to and just threw it up there to get the visual of a headboard. It will be a bit lower.

my plans is to make my own prinsu style rackon the cab of the truck and the headboard will sit flush with that. Then the canopy will also have a rack that will match the cab design and height too. Should look pretty sweet.
