I have a Gator EFX Hard Tri-Fold Tonneau Cover in excellent condition for sale, as I have replaced it with an A.R.E. topper. It was originally purchased from TonneauCoversWorld.com (Model #GUC-GC24022) in July 2021 for $715.83. This cover fits the short bed 5th Gen Ranger.
All original parts...
Good advice. In the end, I’m not going to lose any sleep over it. My trailer lighting is all LED and doesn’t draw a lot of current under normal operation. It all seems good for now. If moisture intrusion or some other unknown factor eventually recreates itself and causes a short, the 30A fuse...
The running lights on my travel trailer wouldn’t work as we were getting ready to head out on a multi-week trip. Troubleshooting on the trailer didn’t reveal anything so I figured it might be a blown fuse. Rather than delay our departure we decided to limit our travel to daylight hours and have...
I just kept fine tuning the sensitivity until it matched my expectations. That's one of the advantages of mounting the unit in such a way that it allows easy access to the adjustment knob.
If someone grabs and releases an exterior door handle when the door is locked, letting the spring snap it...
Curt 600/6000 with companion friction anti sway bar. Simple, inexpensive, and effective. I remove the anti sway bar when backing the trailer.

*Edit: Sorry, didn't realize I was dusting off an old post...
In my experience, my towing is optimized with the use of a WDH in combination with a friction anti sway device. IRT the OP's original question (i.e., the function of the Ranger's installed electronic anti sway capability) I have found my vehicle actually behaves better with the electronic anti...
I've discovered my least optimal towing experience is when the relative wind is coming from the forward quarter (i.e., about 45 degrees off from straight ahead). I actually get slightly better mileage and performance with the wind coming from dead ahead, when the trailer is within the wind...
I tow an R-Pod 179 (~3500 lb loaded) with my '21 Lariat. Frankly, I would not want to tow it without my Curt 6000/600 WDH along with its companion friction anti-sway bar. Sans WDH might be able to handle the trailer by itself but who goes camping with an empty truck bed? In my case, the...
I've heard of folks doing this in the desert Southwest to keep packrats out of their engine bays. Purportedly it's the additional ambient light from above that is the main deterrent. For my upcoming snowbird trip I'm thinking of using one of those tiny decorative strings of battery operated LED...
Don't forget the WDH is also transferring weight to the trailer axle(s) in addition to the front of the tow vehicle. It could be a factor for someone who has loaded their trailer with payload to the point of maxing out their axle rating.
