My summer/off-road tires are Duratrac 285/70-17 (32.7") but I'm probably going up to 295/70 (33.3") or 305/70 (33.8") for my next set. Front crash bars are removed for the bumper, rears are replaced with Ready Lift bars.

Badass truck, love the roof rack and db cover combo.

Hello everyone, I am ordering new tires this week. I currently have 265/70R17 (31.6”) and have been happy with a mpg/performance aspect, but like the looks of the 285/70R17 (32.8”) tires.

For those who have 33s, would you do it again? Mpg isn’t much of a concern, but the performance of this truck and my enjoyment driving it is important. Was there a big performance decrease when moving up to that size tire?

For what its worth I would be going with a passenger rated Toyo AT3 which weights roughly 48 pounds, which to my understanding is pretty lightweight for a 33.
I have 35's and i absolutely love them, right now im only on a 2.5 level with some trimming but I'm stepping up to a proper lift on the 11th the only annoyance is slight rub and the speedo both of which are easy fixes. The stance on even 33's will be so much better but I say if you have the proper wheels for it go big or go home

I really wanted to do 33" but thanks to all the forum members posts I went with a 31.9" tire Cooper Wild Trek 265/70/17 with Eibachs at 2.5" and Icon UCA. Dropped about 2 mpg but very happy the results. Thanks to all here helping me figure out how far the lifted truck rabbit hole I was willing to jump down.

For my own personal tastes, that looks perfect

Keeping this thread alive, even if it's just for fun at this point. Team 33 for about a month and loving it so far, no plans to go smaller any time soon. Initially had a tiny bit of rubbing on the little plastic covers full lock in reverse. Removed the covers and all is good.

Anyone running 255/80/17 with a 2" front level AND wheel spacers? Don't really want to tempt fate but even a 1" spacer would look pretty good I think.

Hey quick question on this set up. Are those 285/70s on the stock tremor wheels?

Console yourself with the thought that he has to wash it every week
I know that pain too much, every vehicle ive owned has been black except for the Ranger, and i live next to a dirt road. My poor lightning gets dirty sitting or driving.

Ha ha ha, not this guy. I'm just over 11 months since I got it, only coin-op power sprayers after off-roading so far. Still hasn't had a proper wash and detail. Maybe in the spring ;)

I’m hoping to be able to fit 285/75/r17’s (33.9”) on mine when I replace my tires. I’ve got the stock tremor wheels with 1.5” spacers (about a +4 offset) and a 2 inch level. Hoping not to have to cut too much

I'd have 285/75 on the list too, but not available for Duratracs.

I thought all Ranger rims are +55 offset. Are Tremor wheels different at +43 offset? A +55 rim and 1.5" spacer will give you a +16 offset.

I'm on +35 rims, no spacer, 285/70 and 3.5 inch lift. I had rubbing at full lock on the right rear crash bar, so I pulled them. Ready Lift bars going on in the spring, no other trimming or rubbing so far.

The tremor wheels are stamped as 17x8 +42. That’s what gives them the inch wider track over the standard ranger.
