Kind of disappointed to see no added capability on the standard rangers, still max at 7500 lbs of towing (just want it to beat the new Colorado at 7700), and still the dinky 18.8 gallon fuel tank... Was also hoping they would give the front end a similar treatment that the 5g got, not a fan of the one piece plastic bumpers that are the trend for trucks these days... Overall not enough of a jump for me to want to swap out my 5g (also financing rates are atrocious these days).

Now the Raptor...starting at 56k... thats another story... Price seems really good on that, and if my wife would let me I would so go after one of these...but again loan rates being terrible, I'm not really feeling like getting rid of my current 0% financing.

You're right Fred with all your assessments. I'm going to see what happens once I get my Tremor and once the price of the Raptor finally comes out. There are many places here where I can get out in the open desert or even the Dunes out in CA and use it to its potential. But in reality how many times will I do this for the price difference of what I have now? Plus my Tremor will be paid off and depending on the used market (it's getting lower now) it might not make financial sense seeing I want to fully retire soon. Right now it's the sensible part of my brain fighting the unreasonable part for one. lol

While I don't envy what you went through with your beautiful Saber Ranger, I do envy what you've accomplished to get the Tremor! You did the right thing and besides, you can always go for a Raptor in a few years.

As for off roading, my pitiful experience is driving once into the back yard to unload dirt for my raised bed garden. Man, I felt as tough as the guys that do the rock crawling in Utah ?

Thats because the Code Orange is the "signature" of all Raptors. Kind of like the Raptor grille which many use that is only available on the Raptor.

Yeah, but the full size tremors used orange too.... So, I'm gonna call BS on the orange is raptor specific. (I will give you maybe it is a slightly different orange, but it's still pretty darn close).

So the XL Ranger will start at $34,160? I haven't seen a configurator yet and wonder if it's as de-contented as the '23 was or if some of those things came back, like the PRNDS light.

Like the interior and center stack. Exterior not too exciting. The Raptor does not have the radical exterior design that the F-150 Raptor does. I'm good with my 2023 Tremor, but will never like the center stack.

That’s the first thing I noticed. NO SCAB offered for now anyways. Wouldn’t buy one until it does become available. Want the longer bed

Other than the 2.7 I don't see a good reason to get a new ranger over my Tremor. None of the other changes really moves the needle for me.
