Perhaps I'm just lucky, but I've had my Ford Dealer in Scottsdale, AZ (AutoNation Ford) do my Ranger oil changes for $90 and it has been great every time. They rotate tires too. If you schedule in advance, they do it while you wait, usually just over an hour. So now I don't have the hassle of...
The website shows rivets in the cut fenders. I posted pics from the Coastal website showing the rivets. They should explain why they are showing rivets if they are not necessary. I posted all this because there are some people who do not wish to cut their fender which is steel (I posted a...
Oh I've seen those photos, but they should explain what the photos mean -- that you don't have to cut and rivet with a non-wide body. They only talk about cutting bodywork in their description, with zero mention of wide body. It might be assumed by some that these photos simply don't show the...
I'm not trying to make a case for this bumper not being for me, I am simply stating that the Coastal website shows cutaway fenders and rivets for those who may be considering that brand. The screenshot below on Coastal's site suggests that the fender be cut off to accommodate the bumper, no...
Well, I am sure about my magnet picture because I just put that magnet on there to show that the fender is steel. My truck is a 2023 Tremor. Does the Coastal site mention a "wide body kit" as a necessity for mounting their bumper?
You have to trim a whole lot more than the bottom of the bed. Here are pics from the Coastal site showing where they have trimmed the fender (not aluminum) and put in rivets through the steel. I've also included a photo of a magnet on the rear fender of my Ranger showing it is steel.
Don't you have to cut away the lower body panels for the Coastal rear bumper, then attach the remaining sheet metal with rivets? Ruins resale value and sets you up for rust.
Well it was warmed up when I brought it in, and done within an hour. I did specifically mention the transmission fluid to the service advisor and he assured me they would check it, and when it was done he told me without my asking that the transmission fluid was normal. Sure, he could have...
I used to do my own oil changes, no more, and I don't trust places like Jiffy Lube. It is dealer only now. The Ranger is a fair bit of work (for me) to do a home oil change. 1. Taking off the left wheel for access (or struggling around it), 2. Dealing with the plastic plugs that sometimes...

If you have read, you should know that I have indeed run the "experiment" with my own truck and have answered the question several times. To repeat, I do not have an increase in mpg with high octane fuel in my Tremor. Now, was that so hard?
Once again, if you have read the post you...
Glad you hear of your experience and your "yes" and "no" answers, but my original question applied to overall mileage as we all drive varied "context." If you ask me what color my dog is and I answer "it depends on what color I dye him" that is also a factual answer, but not what was asked...
