2.3L - 6.2 quart oil change capacity...

I changed mine last week & had a lot of difficulty getting a reading because so much oil clings to the stick along a good stretch of the length. You can feel the stick rubbing against stuff inside as you insert it & pull it out. Any tricks??

So, I ended up using a Dremel Tool with a polishing wheel and polished about three inches from the end of the stick. I usually view the backside of the hash marks, it's just easier for me to read.

Mine did the same thing right after I changed oil. So,let the stick sit in the engine overnight and look at it in the morning.

I was having a hard time getting a good read on mine too. I wasn't too worried about it because when i refilled I just put in 6qts flat.

I pulled the dipstick without bending it at all and was finally able to get a good read. I was just under the full mark.

For a while I did the 6.2 on my 2019. For kicks I decided to see what the dipstick looked like with just 6 in there and I didn't see a difference. From there on I stuck with 6.
