Not my Ranger, but my son-in-laws. 2021 XLT Tremor. While we were hanging out at my house on Easter the topic of vehicle mileage came up. He’s got a bit over 110K miles on his Tremor and has had ZERO issues. Loves his truck. Loves it.

Just thought I’d post this to remind all of us that we mostly hear about the problems Ranger owners have. It’s human nature, and I dare say particularly so in vehicle forums. But there are many out there driving through life trouble free.

I'm at 52k with 0 issues now. But, it had issues

started with too heavy a tailgate, installed piston thingy
then front end sagged too low, installed lifter upper
the bed got wet, installed tarpy stretchy cover
bed got dirty, installed foam stuff on tailgate
bed was bouncy, installed less bouncy poles to axle
motor noise from speakers, turned up music box
puddle lights turned puddles yellow, installed whiter lights
couldn't read Ranger on tailgate, installed sticky letters
shift issue when cold in first minute, rebuilt trans

At 80k and going mostly fine. No problems, but a few things I’m monitoring. Nothing I’m overly concerned about at this time.

I’ve had this 2019 Ranger since it had 22k on it (I’m the second owner). Only thing I’ve had with it that I wasn’t able to correct myself was the warped HVAC box. That sucked.

other than that it’s a great truck!

Good to hear. I'm at 45k, and no issues. I've just been waiting the the bomb to drop.

All cars have problems. Except for Ford Rangers. Ford Rangers and the 10R80 are bullet proof. Like many here, all I care about is my own experience:

Lexus - 40K miles - three trips to dealer for 2 repairs and 1 recall. One of these was a serious mechanical problem.
Mercedes (only temporarily mine and I do not own it)- 4k miles and completely left me stranded on the highway, had to get towed in to repair.
Ford Ranger - 30K miles - zero problems, zero trips to dealer other than oil changes.

Almost 32K on my ‘22 and solid. Yeah the transmission acts funky sometimes but the only issue I really have is that my left front fender is not lined up correctly. I took it to the dealer but they flat out told me “nothing is rubbing so we ain’t touching it” and I’ve never really bothered to go to another dealer.

Yeah, no real issues other than that broken wire in the steering column and the "bucking/surging" issue. Both fixed under warranty.
And I am the first to say there is no perfect vehicle on the market.

I just know I am moving on by the end of the year to something different. Maybe a 6g but, I am getting out of this 21. I've said it before; I hold no emotional connect to a car or truck. No names, I do not stop and stare at it. It's just a transport machine to me.
