Hello -
Was checking under the hood today and I found some new rodent damage.
Something has been making a nest out of the battery insulation material, and chewing on a wiring harness exiting the current/temperature sensor for the battery management system at the negative terminal.
Several...
Obviously this is a personal decision but you're going to take a big hit with the trade-in and CA taxes on the full sales price.
I looked at the 25s because of the employee pricing (no haggle pricing basically), and going from a 21 Tremor Lariat to a 25 XL 4x4 I was still over 8K out the door...
I have a pad and a hitch rack. Virtually never use the rack anymore because putting the bikes in the bed is just so easy. I haven't noticed any damage to tailgate or the bikes, but maybe someday it will happen. Driving around with a rack all the time is a no go for me, and putting it on/off is...
Well, I was ready to pull the trigger and told the dealership that I didn't have all day, but they said 3 hours would be plenty of time. After 3 days of back and forth with the dealer, we agreed on a price for the trade and set an appointment. Drove an hour there and surprise, the truck was in a...
This might be a crazier proposition. I have already made my decision but here's the scenario.
Trade in 2021 Tremor Lariat with 29K miles: $32,750
Purchase 2025 Ranger XL 4x4 with locker for $36,822. I really like the Marsh Gray (controversial, I know)
After tax, title, license - the out the...
All cars have problems. Except for Ford Rangers. Ford Rangers and the 10R80 are bullet proof. Like many here, all I care about is my own experience:
Lexus - 40K miles - three trips to dealer for 2 repairs and 1 recall. One of these was a serious mechanical problem.
Mercedes (only temporarily...
Sorry to see a SCAB owner go. They are becoming a rarity.
I've driven the lightning (briefly) and the Cybertruck (for a week) and I understand why you got the Lightning - much more "normal."
But the Cybertruck really blew me away. It's a revolutionary vehicle - controversial yes - but that's...
when i got my 2021 it was a good deal to get these trucks at MSRP.
When you shopped around, were most dealers willing to come down off MSRP and by how much?
Mass is the main factor in safety. And overall the ranger is doing better than the smaller cars.
but obviously rangers are tall and skinny compared to say the Tacoma. I’m sure they roll easier.
So I tend to believe this data.
