Now for some truck stuff....

I went to Tucson to pick up a few things at Costco, return some extra backsplash tile and pick up the hutch we had made. Most remember the fiasco I went through with the last one back in January from the company up in Cave Creek. 🤦‍♂️ I found a local company who had this made to our specs and now glad the other one fell through as this one goes better with the new kitchen table we recently bought. Like they say “everything happens for a reason” and I’ve always believed in that!. Annie will be happy when she get back home next weekend and that’s pretty much the last major piece we needed for the house and now we desperately need pictures.

With Annie away and my neighbor not home I had to improvise getting it off the truck. I made a ramp out of my Little Giant ladder and slid it down on top of packing mats. Then put slider (these are like gold!) under the legs and slid it into the house. Now I have to get all the stuff out from the box that we had on our other hutch but I think I'm going to poly the top first. It's a rustic look but I want to protect the top with a couple coats of matte finish poly.

Goes well with our new kitchen table too.

Nice! I did take the wife's summer tires for the Explorer over to be swapped and brought the snow tires home. All mounted of course. Now to mow! 🤪

I’m glad that worked out - it was more than a bit of a sh!t show.

Also, that is my favourite ladder! 👍

It was but in the end it was a blessing in disguise! Another bonus, well 2 bonuses. This one was $400.00 cheaper and when I was looking it over the left draw sticks a little on the top right side. They couldn't find a plainer or any sandpaper so she said "How about I give you 10% off for your troubles".

Hmmm, let me think about that for 2 seconds....OK! I'll take some 120 grit then finish it with 220 grit in about 5 minutes for $57.00 off. lol 🤑

Yup, those Little Giants (actually this one is a Werner) come in handy for so many uses.

Easy fix!

My Little Giant extends to 21’ and is WAY more steady and more trustworthy than standard extension ladders. Heavy as can be but safe as can be too.

I don’t even worry about that. My recliner is battery powered and only plugs in to charge. It also has a couple of USB ports so I can keep my phone and iPad charged to check out r5g, which is great because it’s playoffs season. Now, where did I put those large Gaterade bottles.
Large Gatorade bottles, AKA tactical urinal

Does walking to the fridge to get a beer qualify you as an armchair quarterback ? 😁

Good thing my recliner has motors to lift my feet up 😆😅😂🤣

Only downside is if power goes out 🤤 😱
What is this "walking to the fridge" that you speak of?

I don't care for the design. Restocking the fridge doesn't look appetizing!! 😂

That's what the wife is for. :lipssealed:
If you take a second look at the plumbing schematics, you don't want to eat what's going to be in that fridge!!

Not to mention the interesting game of "Is that liquid on top of the can beer or not?"

Celebrated the 3rd year anniversary of picking up my Tremor. It was actually yesterday the 16th that we flew out to Spokane, WA and picked it up after totaling my '19 Ranger. 2 weeks after bringing it home we went on a 5 week/5,400 mile trip and broke it in good. I still love the truck and enjoy driving it every day!

Custer State Park next to some Bison. lol

Drove it for the first time in 30 days post-shoulder replacement surgery. I've missed driving, for sure.
