That's the only game us old farts can play now without breaking a hip. :(
True. No broken hips, but I have more injuries in the past year playing Pickleball. It has been a humbling experience, facing the reality of aging and then recovering. It is keeping the doctors and surgeons employed that's for sure.

I was going to say there's a type! 😂
They're everywhere down here.

Joking aside it's a great area but sad to see what your future holds. :(

I'm going to stick to my mountain bike and fat bike. Lifting weights as well. I need more hiking as long as my back allows. I want to be able to get around in the elk woods this fall and deer hunting.

That's the key is to keep moving and doing stuff and stay off the meds! I still haven't looked into the bikes yet but want to as we have a lot of places (on & off road to ride here. I'd be out hiking weekly but Annie doesn't really like it as much as I do but she's starting to enjoy it more. We usually walk a good 3+ miles every night. Out here she's petrified of the snakes. lol 🐍

That's a great walking routine! Get you one of the Pietta Colt clones in 45 Colt and stoke it with CCI bird shot! No snake worries that way! I bought the Great Western II Californian with the 4 5/8" barrel. Carry that in a cross draw holster on your walks. Very handy!! 😁

New set of 285/70r17 Falken Rubitreks with Lock Off-Road Lunatic 17x9 +1 offset Rims. 2022 Tremor with 2" level. I used ReadyLift 67-2900 Anti-Intrusion Beams. I may look for some Raptor Fender Flares next.

Two total hip replacements here , don’t walk around much any more just remain as an armchair quarterback… the only walking I do is on the fishing pier that’s that…😎

Does walking to the fridge to get a beer qualify you as an armchair quarterback ? 😁

Good thing my recliner has motors to lift my feet up 😆😅😂🤣

Only downside is if power goes out 🤤 😱

There's always a solution to a problem! 🤔

That's why you get a 12V cooler and plug it into the outlet next to your recliner and a power station for back up battery. Now, all you have to do is lean over and grab a beer. Bonus points if you thought ahead and saved a few large Gatorade bottles to pee in. You could stay there all day if you planned ahead right.

Now for some truck stuff....

I went to Tucson to pick up a few things at Costco, return some extra backsplash tile and pick up the hutch we had made. Most remember the fiasco I went through with the last one back in January from the company up in Cave Creek. 🤦‍♂️ I found a local company who had this made to our specs and now glad the other one fell through as this one goes better with the new kitchen table we recently bought. Like they say “everything happens for a reason” and I’ve always believed in that!. Annie will be happy when she get back home next weekend and that’s pretty much the last major piece we needed for the house and now we desperately need pictures.

With Annie away and my neighbor not home I had to improvise getting it off the truck. I made a ramp out of my Little Giant ladder and slid it down on top of packing mats. Then put slider (these are like gold!) under the legs and slid it into the house. Now I have to get all the stuff out from the box that we had on our other hutch but I think I'm going to poly the top first. It's a rustic look but I want to protect the top with a couple coats of matte finish poly.

Goes well with our new kitchen table too.

I don’t even worry about that. My recliner is battery powered and only plugs in to charge. It also has a couple of USB ports so I can keep my phone and iPad charged to check out r5g, which is great because it’s playoffs season. Now, where did I put those large Gaterade bottles.
