I don't see me towing the tractor much honestly.
GFs dad has a 1500 and trailers it needed moved, like he wanted to use it.

What's your set up on that Kubota? Model #?

I'm considering trading my Ranger when I get it back from the transmission repair. Am I nuts for trading this pretty much (except for the aforementioned transmission repair) trouble free rig for a 2022 F150 or maybe even a brand new one. Have the 10R80 transmissions in the F150 been ironed out or are they still having issues. I just have a bad tasted in my mouth from this truck and wondering if it will ever be right after the repair/replacement. Anyone else had this dilemma or thinking about it?
What did you decide to do?

I’m going tomorrow to look at a 2023 Maverick Lariat FX4 with tow package. One owner 21k miles. Ford certified.

I sat down and took an honest look at my needs as a 61 year old with two back surgeries, one knee replacement down and another on the way.

I’m at a place where I have to face reality. I don’t have the capabilities I once had and I’m not going to stop the downhill slide of aging. I hire folks to do the tough work I can’t do any more.

I need a less capable awd smaller vehicle easier to get in and out of. My camping is moving toward the rustic rental cabin level from truck and tents 😂

Going to look at the Maverick because it does have a small bed that I can use for Home Depot runs and to tow a small trailer with lawn mower etc.

Reality bites, but it is what it is.

I went from a Ecoboost Mustang to a Ranger. My knees were screaming at me getting in and out. FYI, I am 9 years older than you. :) I never would have taken it to a shop 10 or 20 years ago to do the front struts or the oil cooler on my Jeep but I was being honest with myself for a change. :) With the FPP tune, it is every bit as quick as the Mustang, staying under posted speed limits. Even with the level and slightly bigger tires, a small step up and an easy slide down. Keep that in mind when you test drive. No back issues so I can't relate to that, yet.

Yep, reality bites. On the bright side, it seems like a fun vehicle, looks pretty cool, has real utility, and could make things easier for you. You could make worse choices.

If it only came in a SuperCab version. ;)

Seriously been considering a 6r80 f150 or older. Im not even 40 yet but this new tech make’s vehicles disposable and a huge waste of money in my opinion. Ill take a crappier ride, a few less MPGs and a single din stereo again. So you are not crazy, or we are both crazy…

YMMV but I learned long ago that I needed to avoid any girl whose name ends in a vowel.

I don't know why, but every girl I dated with a name ending in a vowel (usually an "a") ended up being a wrong choice.

My wife's name ends in a sometimes vowel and has worked out really well 🤪

Oh yeah, just because Deborah ends in a consonant, that "a" sure makes itself known quite quickly.

🤔 Come to think of it all mine ended in a vowel but I don't think that was it.

I had this thing for dating hairdressers. Don't know why but it seems like every time I met a girl she ended up being a hairdresser and it never worked out. That and they were all blondes, blue eyes with certain "features" we cant discuss here. :lipssealed:

I had much better luck with brunettes. :whew: Needless to say I started asking them what they did for a living right off the bat. lol

I had to update my medical information in preparation for an upcoming doctor visit. One question as usual was “How many days a week do you consume alcohol“?
I said 9…..! 😁🍷🍺😜
