Have to vote against the grain and say no.
Have a ‘22 SCAB ordered from the factory.

Had the transmission rebuilt 2 months ago per the service bulletin.

Just had the roof trim replaced (rust) under warranty.

Transmission started acting up again. Goes back in on Monday to have main control valve replaced or rebuilt.

sure it’s all warrantied thankfully. But a new truck less then 3 years old 38k on it. Not why I bought new. Was to avoid this.

Maybe their tech didn't check it out throughly? Maybe the tech under filled the trans?

If you have any further issues I would turn to Ford and maybe try another dealer that has a more experienced tech.

Any truck that still has the factory dipstick probably has about a 99% chance of not being filled properly.

Maybe lots of maybes.

In the end it’s not a good brand new vehicle experience. After I get it back for the fourth time, it’s going to be in the back of my mind on how long the tranny will last this time.

Insult to injury. My blend door got stuck on defrost this am. Tried putting on the a/c right now and it just blows hot air out the top vent.
Max a/c works.
Called back and added that to my appointment on Monday when they try to fix the transmission again.
Looks like I got a lemon.

I'm happy. Granted I only have 32K miles on mine, but have done everything possible to extend the life of the 10R80.
Other than waiting for that shoe to drop, I have no complaints. I compared my Ranger to the Taco and Colorado. The Ranger beat all on specs other than the Taco's V6 hp.
I'm glad someone brought up the question since I was just thinking how much I like the truck. Top of class in 2019 for towing, payload, torque and mileage.
I'd buy another.

I love mine.
I used to have a ‘19 fx4 sport, but traded it for something bigger. A couple of years go by and I kept thinking of my old Ranger and how much fun it was. Picked up a nice cpo ‘21 Lariat to get a couple of the luxuries I wish I had in my ‘19.

For me I did like it. Of course it did take me to many different places that I would never see if I didn't explore the OffRoad world at all. The only two complaints I had with the truck was the lack of storage under the rear seat and the oil filter location. The power I do kinda miss to say the least

Of course it meet a horrible fate with Ground Beef 3 years ago.......

Now I'm back in a D40 Frontier and I feel that it suits me a bit better. It just feels right to me.

Bought my 2020 cpo just over 3.5 years ago, and aside from the DPFE and an issue with the turbo that was fixed over warranty, it's been a solid vehicle. I'm at a little over 115,000 km, or a bit over 70,000 miles.

It's my first truck, and I've done a little towing, a little hauling and a little off-roading with it. It's also the first vehicle that I've ever modded or really worked on myself, largely thanks to this forum and the wealth of information and support to be found here.

Thanks, all, for sharing your knowledge and experience, making this such an educational experience.

No you didn't. You got a 5G Ranger!

Change your transmission fluid early and often. And add LubeGard Platinum.

Ford spec says the fluid is good for the life of the transmission.

Order and install a FitzStick Dipstick. then at the very first sign of trouble suck the fluid out the tube, and replace, adding in LubeGard Platinum.

By 18K miles my transmission was so bad I parked the truck. It sat for 6 months before a couple of folks on this forum suggested to me what I just suggested to you.

If you let your truck sit for several days you can get 7.5 qts out. Overnight will get you 5 qts. I did this routine 3 times in 2K miles to get my clean fluid up to 92%. Truck has behaved itself for the last 9K miles.

BTW, Ford didn't lie to you. The fluid will last the life of the transmission... it will simply be a very short life. FWIW at 18K miles my fluid was black as coal. Not a hint of red in it.

At the very first sign of trouble it’ll be going back in to ford.
Magic snake oil isn’t going to fix a lemon transmission.
