I'm curious what a 3 foot bed looks like Actually interested in pics of the other guys edge too. Things like this make me want to get a dashcam set up, one with high definition and automated ignition power in front and rear loop recording.

Rear bumper and driver side quarter was $10K, frame added $7K and labor another $6k = $23k / new truck

Back in November somebody rear ended my Ranger going 45-50 while I was at a complete stop in traffic. Ranger held up pretty well though due to frame damage it was totaled. Fast forward to this past weekend with all the end of year deals and now I have a new Ranger with all the options I wanted but couldn't get before. Crappy situation but at least there is a silver lining!

You are very lucky!!! I was rear-ended at a stop light by a person doing 50-55MPH in my 98 Ranger and I broke the seat when I was thrown backwards and my head went through the cab and cap windows nearly causing me to bleed to death. I guess maybe I am lucky because I nearly died not died!!

WOW, lucky for you your insurance totaled it! I've seen cases like this where they don't total it and repair instead, but that crap is on the title records of the truck forever and kills the resale value. Good insurance does pay when you need it!

Brake lights were fully functional both before and after collision. As were all the other vehicles stopped.
