Now if you are asking if any of us have raised the rev limited in the ECU, I'm in the 'no' camp on that one. There's nothing up there to be gained with the stock setup since it is optimized for midrange torque. Maybe with a different turbo/intake/exhaust you'd see gains with a raised limiter, but this engine really isn't set up for that.

I don't much go in for 'bragging rights' I bought the truck to do work, and it does that just fine, if I wanted a race car, I'll buy/build a race car, that's not really what street-driven trucks are for in my mind. (Not saying I won't ever tune it. Another 40-50hp would make towing duty a bit easier, but I'm in no rush)
well on a 2024 the redline looks to be at 6500rpm,if ford didnt want the engine to go past 5500 rpm then the redline should be at 5500? that is where max hp or torque is i think?
maybe im wrong but i thought wherever the redline starts the brand of the automobile dont want you to go over that?

Do you mean just run it 100% all the time? I have a tune for more power when I need or want it but 98% of the time it doesn't see high rpm. Maybe 95%... I do have to merge on i10 almost daily. When it is being run it shifts when it shifts. As much as I bash on my trans it did well before the tune at hauling ass. Got even better after the tune. When it shifts and how it shifts both.

Semi off topic? Maybe... I am now picturing OPs Ranger bouncing off the Rev limiter at each red-light. The opposite of A.S.S. ... being an ass.
of course not! just every now and then

Max Horse Power is usually at the end of the Power Band. For Max Torque it will depend on the engine. If I recall for stock Dyno Graphs the EcoBoost likes to hit Max Torque down low and then flat line close to the top of the Mod Range of the power band.

Red Line is where manufs usually cut fuel, spark, or usually both. In reality the engine would probably hang together a little bit north of that, but again, these aren't race engines. They've got to last at least 100k miles and you're not going to do that if you run it near the physical limits of the components.

In certain situations it can be advantageous to run up that high, usually if you have a wide gear spacing and you want to keep the engine in the meat of its powerband, that's when you bang off rev-limiters. With a 10 speed transmission, there's just no need. You can stay at max power easier with a smaller drop between gears.

How deep are your pockets? This engine could hit 8k with some work but it would no longer serve the purpose of a truck engine. Would have to move the power band up. These shift around 5900-6100 based on my experience. Raising the rpm is not as advantageous on a turbo vehicle. Raising the boost is. On an NA, more rpm typically means more HP.

I think I hit the 6ish range, once.

Side note. In a 2003 BMW I had, I punched it and wasn't really paying attention. It hit the max, I assume, and throttled down. Not sure the Ranger would do that.
