I leveled an F-150 once and felt no difference in handling, ride etc. but it was a straight front axle.

For the IFS Ranger, I have heard everything from "it will destroy the handling" to "it's god's gift to truck owners"

I'd like to hear thoughts and comments from Tremor owners that have done a simple level - good thing, or bad thing?

Todd, it looks like your 200 lb fibreglass topper levels your Tremor nicely already. ?

In that photo, yes, it does seem level. I swear when I look at it IRL it needs something.. Maybe 1"... (thats what she said)

Your headlights will point a little higher and your front bash plate will clear things that are 1.5" taller than before. It doesn't even help you clear larger tires. Worth it though. Looks sick.

Anyone claiming anything to the contrary just hasn't driven a leveled truck.

Edit: there might be an alignment issue if you push the level a little too high without changing control arms. Angles get a little funny.

My experience marches Av8or
Other than fuel economy, and your truck looking better, you won't notice a thing. Don't forget to re-aim your headlights afterwards.
Ditto for my experience with a 1.5 level on a Tremor.

YOu will have no issues as the Tremor shocks are basically non adjustable Fox 2.0 units. 1.5 inch spacer will have zero impact on your ride quality. Just do it :)

Not a Tremor owner, just an XLT guy but my 2" level made the ride much better and the cornering turned out wayyy better. I had to adjust the adaptive cruise control radar, headlights, fog lights and the alignment (toe) was way off. Again, not a Tremor owner but to me it's a notable improvement with 2 inches. I added bigger tires as well.

Many will have their own opinion but here are the key facts you need to know.

First off if you are looking at a Spacer Kit, just don't..... It will stiffen up the front a bit and can make it where the the upper control arms will contact the chassis more when driving over rough terrain(speed bumps included).

Now if you are looking at replacing the Shocks and Struts, the. You won't have the problems some will claim. You can gain a bit more available travel and help control the ride better with a new set of shocks and struts.

That said I would recommend not going with a leveling kit. Why? Because it will lower the MPG a bit and it will hinder the performance when towing. What I mean by hinder performance is the rear will squat and sit lower than the front when loaded. Not a good thing at all

It will make you sit roughly one inch higher than you did before. Beautiful women will chase you down, money will fall from the sky, and you will catch every green light.

Or it might just be the exact same. YMMV

Terrible...you gotta go with at least 2-2.5" or women will laugh at you...
The women I know can laugh all they want.
