Took the topper off. Changes are forthcoming. Five years in and I’m still absolutely loving this truck.

Spoiler alert! Not my Ranger. I know I know. But I’m very happy and have to tell someone. So I’m telling my fellow vehicle freaks.

I changed the oil and installed new headlights… in my Focus ST. Very happy camper. Very. ST is happy too. Oil changes always make me happy. And the vehicles love it too. And at 11 1/2 years old she needed headlights. Car is rocking! :like:

Sorry. My bad. I apologize. Go
back to Ranger stuff now.

But did I tell you about those headlights?!

We owned a 2013 Focus ST for 5 years it was a great car and so fun to drive. Glad you are still enjoying yours.

Absolutely love it. And with only 85K miles it’s not going anywhere soon. Additionally, knock wood, the car has been stellar from a repair standpoint.

Great GIF ?

Project M will be going on somewhere around the first half of March.
I was hoping it would be something like that. ? Exciting! It’s a little fancier than a Swag. ;)

Will you be able to use your existing awning and enclosure with the new setup? Will you get it with roof rack tracks and move your Pioneer Platform onto it?

You are right about the comfort over being in a swag. I optioned the M with side rails and windows on both sides. The 270 awning will go on one side and maxtrax will likely go on the other. I will keep the interior open and untouched—no fancy build out. I need the space for my dog and bike, so I can keep it locked up whenever I’m away from the truck. I might throw in a bean bag for some comfort and ambience, but other than that, it’ll still look like a truck inside the M.

With the side rails, no need for a roof rack. I travel pretty light and keep things simple with my gear.

My mantra also. To keep some sort of economy going with the mid size truck.
It loses mpg’s pretty easily.
Plus not filling every corner with gear - space is at a premium.

I'm not looking forward to the headlight replacement on my Focus, it will need them, only 8 years old, but over 100k miles. There is no aftermarket that I've seen that I would replace these with, so OE prices will suck, but will be needed before the 10 year mark I think.

Replaced Cabin Air Filter. Pretty much standard Ford procedure behind the glovebox, under 3 minutes. Bought the truck last month and the engine air filter was new. Should've bought one on Amazon for half price with a fancy scent, but opted for locally purchased CarQuest Premium. RLTW.
