I'm at 35,500 and run full synthetic. Drive reasonable on and offroad.
Can I look forward to possibly another 100K?
I don't see why not. Your transmission will probably fail but your engine will be fine. o_O :bandit:

I'm only at 13,700 and use full synthetic and change my oil every 5,000 miles. I did add a 10/100,000 ESP to it for added Insurance.

Engineered to last past 150k but I see the weak point being the transmission for reliability.
I see we're on the same page. lol

It's sad that we have to think this way when many transmissions have been good yet several have had issues with very low mileage.

Yes, it's just facts now. Data doesn't lie. Hope his last 200k+ tho.

Just turned 10k and replaced the rear springs , rear shocks,
drive shaft, installed duel catch can, trans dip stick so I can check the level without 3 degree burns to my arm. And just spent another $500 on a tune so the trans shifts like it suppose to, I’m sure there will be more:LOL:

Having a pandemic built vehicle has it's draw backs. Seems like its a trend for all manufacturers during that period.

It rough that these newer vehicles are not like the old days...
Engine done, swoop it out, Trans done swoop her out.
And we're talking hundred not thousands with relative availablity.

Now a days I'm not sure you could even locate a new engine or transmission
for a Ranger regardless of price. Used, reconditioned????
I like to think there would be a way to hold on to my Ranger for the long haul.

I guess if worst comes to worst...just buy an older Ford Pickup

It's not just trucks but basically almost everything is not made with quality anymore. Everything has introduced unnecessary complexity and more failure points. Right to fix is almost nonexistent because they want everything disposable or extremely cost prohibitive to fix.

~70,000 km/42,000 mi on my 2019 - no issues - no complaints. Likely half highway and half city - most of it spirited driving in “S” mode because this truck is a heck of a lot of fun to drive. Coming up on my fifth Rangerversary and can’t believe it’s a five year old truck. ?

I’m at 34,456. Dealt is doing the oil changes for now which I want to say they do a synthetic blend but not sure
My truck is a 2023 build date is Jan 23’ got it in March 23’ engine has lent stressed me out at all but the transmission stories got my cheeks clenched up a bit…but thus far no issues other than my 4L seems louder than i expected it to be when in use going through the steep areas of my parents property.

So im just repeating what they say.. keep up your maint on the engine, pray your transmission is one of the good ones ? … you can trust there’s some folks on here that really really will guide you in good direction.
