Thanks I don't suppose it would be the $110 dollar one.
The mirror kit is the $110 one.

If you want the widow module (converts all 4 windows into auto up/down from the switches on the doors, automatically closes windows when you lock the doors, allows you to vent or roll down the windows from the remote “global window” controls) - that is $150.

You can buy both for $220.
I have both.

Yes I have the button, BUT that is not auto fold. My dictionary defines AUTO as happening with no human intervention such as pushing said button.
That is some funny sh!#!

Yea, I never think to close them. I have not used them once.

I have a sedan that when you lock the doors after exiting, they automatically fold. Makes more sense.

I pretty much only close mine when going through the car wash.

I've got in the habit of closing mine every time I park especially when out. Even though I park way out away from others someone usually seems to park in the spot next to mine. Then there's those who love to walk close and bump into them because they're usually on their phone and not paying attention. I had this happen years ago on my F150 which didn't have auto mirrors and cracked the casing so now that I have them I do it as a precaution.

Since moving I'm not sure when my window sticker is but I do remember seeing that on it. I'm guessing they mean when you push the button on the dash that they"auto fold" and not having to manually push them in from the outside.
I think you are right...they auto fold after you push the button.

Has any one bought one the modules from Trac Electronics in Austrailia? Couple of questions...

1. How were they to do business with?
2. Did you feel comfortable using your credit card out of the country?
3. How did your credit card company handle the exchange rate?
4. How long did shipping take?
5. How was the import duty handled?
6. How are the install instructions, easy to follow, how well do they apply to the North American Ranger?

TIA

George

I have the Trac window module in my '19 XLT, probably 3 years now. To answer your questions.

1. They were fine to do business with. No problems as I remember shipping was fairly fast for overseas.

2. I had no problems using my credit card for the purchase. I have traveled overseas in the past and used my card then. Just let your card issuer know that you are making a foreign purchase and there will be no issues. In this instance I forgot to do this and they locked my card when they saw the Australian purchase come in. A simple phone call cleared it up. At least I know their watching.

3. I beleive the credit card handled the exchange rate. Or, maybe Trac billed it in US dollars. Can't remember.

4. As I said shipping was very fast considering it as overseas.

5. Don't remember any import duties.

6. Instructions were good and install was plug and play. No splicing of any kind. Just unplug a couple of connectors and plug into their harness.

Only one point it does not make all the window switches one-touch, only the ones at the drivers door panel.

Thank for your response Lee. As for installation I am looking at the Auto Fold mirror module not one for the windows. I already installed a module for "One Touch Up/Down" for passenger window.

OK, I have replaced my mirrors with the Clearview towing mirrors and did not spend the extra on the power folding. I have never found the need to fold my mirrors. Most of my comments should still apply. Especially about calling your card provider. Not fun going to use your card and finding out it is locked. ?

On my 6G, there's an option in the infotainment settings to have them fold when the truck is locked. It wasn't the default. I'm guessing it's not that way on the 5G or someone would have posted a picture of the option. I wonder if it can be set to behave that way with Forscan?

The 5G does not have factory door modules. Which would be required for true auto-folding mirrors, or fob controlled windows. The 6G must have these modules as I believe it also has memory seats on some trim levels.
