Aspherical side mirrors

Does anybody know if the RoW ranger and North American ranger have the same side mirrors? I’d like to swap the standard American side mirrors to European aspherical mirrors if possible. I doubt they are the same, but I thought it was worth looking into since the EU mirrors are vastly superior.

Those are nice. I have one on my Porsche which doesn't have BSM. But with BSM on my Ranger I don't see the need.

It should be an easy swap if I can find the part numbers for the ROW ranger. They look pretty similar, so if somebody has access to the part # I will buy them and see if I get lucky.

My GTI came with the DOT approved side mirrors with BSM, but I went ahead and swapped them to the EU spec mirrors w/ BSM just because I have gotten so used to them from my previous VW's. I agree it is a bit unnecessary with the BSM, but it doesn't hurt to have both.

proper mirror adjustment and BS warning kinda makes this a pointless exercise, unless you have time and money to burn just to be different

It has little to do with proper mirror adjustment and the BS warning, the mirrors give an over all greater field of view, that just minimizes your blind spot. It might seem unnecessary, but if I can enhance my field of view with an easy mirror swap, I'm going to do it...just to be different is a bit of a stretch because it's a mod that literally nobody will notice so I'm not sure how that is the payoff for me.
